So, what are you having for dinner, Christopher Brewer?
At Elixir in White River Junction, VT
Rob Gurwitt was at Elixir this week, talking with chef Christopher Brewer. Have there been changes at Elixir now that Brewer is also the new owner? Rob reports:
“And he’s been careful about playing with the menu. ‘I tried to take the red curry coconut mussels off,’ he [Brewer] laughs. ‘The mussels I put on were received well, but people were like, ‘They’re not as good as the red curry. You need the red curry back.’ It came back.”
And then there are the truffle fries . . .
Most important though is this: what is Chef Brewer having for dinner? Click here to find out.
(This is the third in a weekly series of chats with local restaurant owners and chefs— a collaboration between Artful and Daybreak—as Rob and I suss out which dishes they’d choose from their own menus.)
