You can watch artists at work as they create outdoor murals for the reimagined and newly constructed dining scene in downtown Lebanon NH. Three Tomatoes Trattoria, like many Upper Valley restaurants, is now open for sit-down service but only outdoors. Seating includes tables under the restaurant’s usual summer canopy (with some tables scattered a little farther afield on the pedestrian mall), as well as in the middle of the newly blocked-off Court Street. To shield diners, owner Robert Meyers erected large windscreen panels which presumably are effective, but ugly.
Elaine, from the press release: “The size of the panels allows for social distancing for four artists at a time, one on each side of the two panels.” My guess is that paintings will appear on the dining side as well.
Susan, as we are driving home to N.H. from FLA, this article about Three Tomatoes and AVA brought huge smiles and some laughter to our journey. Thanks for helping us become even more excited about going home—-and after we quarantine—dinner at TTT!

It’s unfortunate plexiglass wasn’t used. Paintings would have been double sided for the diners to enjoy as well. Just a thought...
