Some days you discover that while you were hardly paying attention some folks have gone and done something good. I am proud to say that in this case, it is my own City of Lebanon. It has been installing solar panels at seven municipally-owned facilities: the Police Station, the DPW Garage, the DPW Administration, the Landfill Reception Center, the Landfill Maintenance Building, the Wastewater Plant, and my favorite, the Kilton Library. Thanks for covering this and helping to get it out there. There's so much of that work happening quietly behind the scenes in Lebanon. The Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee is doing AMAZING work. I believe, but not 100% certain, that the city will be getting its first electric car sometime during the year. There's an Electric Vehicles subcommittee working on it if I have my facts correct. I'm really proud of the investment Lebanon is making in our future.
